Economic growth in Woodland Park hinges on having strong schools.
"We need to serve our current families well and attract new families through high-quality educational options. We need to be a place families want to live because of good educational options, not run away because of poor ones. This is a major reason school choice is so important, especially in today’s day and age, where parents seek options for needs that may vary within one family. The Woodland Park School District has been in a steady decline of enrollment for almost 20 years, and to allow that to continue without offering solutions to turn it around would be a detriment to our community. I firmly believe supporting public school choice better serves our citizens and provides a framework for our schools to excel," Mary Sekowski
